33. Epilepsy
.
When a person drinks far too much of water daily (e.g., 4 L or more) and over-urinates (polyurea, about 12 times or more daily), all the much needed nutrients (along with calcium) would get leached out of the body.
.
Such a situation would give the person increased male sex hormone secretion – the androgen, hypersex, rapid heartbeat (palpitation), tension, stress, and also enhance epileptic attacks.
.
The situation would become worse if the person happens to be eating nutrient-poor diet, such as plain rice without vegetables, fruits and foods of animal origin. The following appear to be the major reasons for epileptic attacks:
.
(a) accumulation of toxic substances released by the decomposing faecal matter that has stagnated at the colo-rectal region of the intestinal tract causing chronic constipation,
.
(b) inhalation of toxic fumes emitted by mosquito coils, mosquito/insect aerosols and sprays, incense, joss sticks, camphor, car exhausts, industrial emissions, methane from sewerages, fumes from chemical stores, etc.,
.
(c) consuming frequently preservative-containing foods and drinks,
.
(d) often eating previous day’s left-over foods, containing especially dhal and other dried legumes,
.
(e) sleeping in a room with all windows closed,
.
(f) sleeping with face covered with a blanket or comforter,
.
(g) drinking reduced quantity of water (e.g., about ½ L),
.
(h) under- or over-urinating all the time (about twice daily, or more than 12 times),
.
(i) eating too much of high protein diet, inadequate quantities of carbohydrates and fats that would add up to very little calories,
.
(k) inadequate sleep by night, and
.
(l) reduced red blood cell count in the blood.
.
All these affect the brain intensely. For want of oxygen, and to shed off the already gathered toxic gasses, the brain activates the body to shiver violently, and this becomes the epileptic attacks, otherwise called seizures.
.
The cure will rest upon correction of all the above erroneous practises. In addition, the patient should be trained to do proper Breathing Exercise, Body Towel Massage, Body Rubbing Exercise, water consumption, urination, etc.
.
Nutrient-rich food should be given regularly. Vegetables that are naturally rich in calcium should also be given in slightly larger quantities.
.
Oranges and lemon juices (with added sugar) would provide more of potassium that would speed up the recovery.
.
Besides this, the water consumption should also be kept to an optimum level (e.g., 2L daily). Yet, the liberal urination habit should be continued.
.
All the above will have to be cautiously and gradually given, lest, in the process of correcting some of these, he/she may get spontaneous attacks. With proper treatment the recovery may take about three months or so.
One should never ever administer any form of laxative to an epileptic patient, for that can not only increase the intensity of the attacks, but can also prove to be fatal.
.
Epilepsi is related to: Eclampsia, Parkinson’s disease, Hyperactive child Tension & Stress, and Palpitation.
