Misinterpretation-19: Vitamin and mineral supplements are essential for keeping good health. Even famous doctors all over the world keep emphasising this.


Evaluation: NOT FOR PEOPLE OF THE TROPICS.


There does not seem to exist any error in the eating habits of people living in the tropics.


Food consumed by many of the ethnic groups in the Tropical countries appears to be self-sufficient. Inadequacies do not seem to occur.


Eating habits of ethnic groups have developed since time immemorial, based on what is grown in their environment.


Tropical foods are complete in their makeup. Whereas, those in the cold temperate countries (for want of sunshine and warmth) are lacking in some of the essential vitamins that are required for the well-being of people.


Therefore, it becomes a necessity for temperate-living people to take some vitamins (e.g., vitamin-D) and mineral (e.g., calcium) supplements*. However, these should be in smaller quantities, and not in megadoses.


(* In England, alkaline minerals such as calcium are not present in the water due to the acidification of soils by the coal mining industries)


Unfortunately, during the past 300 years or so, most of the modern-day and so-called scientific research works were done in the European countries, by Europeans, based on European diet and food sources, under European climate and soil conditions, and on European body frame.


The findings that arose out of the above were subsequently forced upon the tropical-living people, without any suitability evaluation. This happened essentially because most of the countries were under Colonial rule.


No one need to doubt the statement that vitamins and minerals are necessary for healthy living.


However, the most important point to remember is that all the tropical foods – even the poor man’s diet, contain all the needed minerals and vitamins.


Therefore, taking supplements of any kind, under normal circumstances, becomes not only redundant, but is also dangerous.


It is best not to trust the day-to-day advertisements that are presented in a very convincing manner in the mass media. These are profit-motivated, and are not meant to keep people in good health.


If one evaluates the background of the famous food advocates, it would become evident that they hail from the temperate countries and not from the tropics.


My question is, why listen to the ‘aliens’ who do not know anything about you? Why not listen to researchers who can think for themselves, living in the tropics, who tend to know more about you, in the right perspective?!

Misinterpretation-20: Take magnesium, zinc, copper, boron and selenium as supplements, since these are needed by the body for maintaining good health.


Evaluation: DO NOT TRUST MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENTS.



No one need to argue about the validity of the statement. They could be totally true.


The point is, were these not needed for the well-being of the ‘civilised’ people who have been living on earth for the past 30 thousand years?


They were needed, of course! They were present in the ‘normal’ food people have been eating all these centuries!


The only difference is that the modern-day researchers have started recognising their presence as well as their needs for the body.


Just the understanding of the phenomenon has become prominent now. This perhaps is one of the ways of entrepreneurship to make money.


The above situation resembles the patenting of the use of saffron (kunyit).


People in the tropical countries, such as in India, have been using corm in their day-to-day cooking since seven thousand years or so. They know the value of this substance very well, except that they have not patented it.


In the recent past, someone in the West has re-discovered the beneficial effects of corm, and has patented it, as if it is his own first-time finding.


The use of garlic in the form of capsules for the upkeep of heart health is another gimmick that has been fooling people of the tropics since two or three decades.


The use of garlic in foods in the tropical countries has been in existence since several thousand years.


However, some entrepreneurs encapsulated a tiny amount of it, highlighted its use in the mass media in a very convincing manner, and have been making billions out of the innocent public.
I think, it is high time that we evaluate seriously any advice that is given to us in the name of research.

Misinterpretation-21: As per report published by some Harvard University medical doctors in the journal of American Medical Association (2002), chronic health problems such as heart diseases, cancer and osteoporosis, occur increasingly among people because they do not take an optimal amount of nutrients through diet.


Evaluation: TOTALLY WRONG.


I have brought to recognition, with enough of evidences, that majority of the chronic diseases have totally nothing to do with the deficiency of minerals.


On the contrary, only increased amounts of some of the nutrients give rise to major health problems.


Calcium excess, as I have repeatedly stressed, will certainly give rise to heart problems, cancer and osteoporosis.


The authors of the above paper appear to have misunderstood the entire phenomenon, in line with all other modern medical practitioners.


Simply because the calcium is getting removed from the bones in menopaused women, thus giving rise to osteoporosis, they conclude that the body is in dire need of calcium replacement.


They overlook the true situation. Please see the following analogy:


Let us say that you have eaten excellent food to your full satisfaction. At this, your host insists that you take another scoop of the delicious pudding.


On doing so, since your stomach is over-filled, it throws out in the form of a vomit, not only the pudding you just ate, but also some of the food you ate earlier.


Based on the vomit, the doctors conclude that there is shortage of food in your stomach. Then, they force into your mouth more food.


If that too comes out, they connect a tube to your stomach, by-passing the mouth, and thrust the food in to your body, assuming that that will keep you healthy.


To make sure that extra filling stays within, they cut off the vagus nerves that are responsible for giving you a feeling of hunger, satisfaction of nausea.


The above situation is directly comparable to the administration of calcium to menopaused women.


Although I have already described the process of menopause and related changes that occur in a woman elsewhere in this book, let me repeat it here for the sake of clarity and understanding.


Calcium excesses get removed from the body of a menstruating woman regularly at monthly intervals as part of the menstrual fluid.


When a woman menopauses, such calcium losses do not occur. On the other hand, they accumulate inside the body of the woman.


If she happens to expose her body to sunshine, or if she takes vitamin-D supplements, then the calcium excesses get fixed in the bones. (Otherwise, they settle in the soft tissues).


The body can accommodate such fixations only to a certain maximum. When such a fixation goes beyond the body’s tolerance limit, the brain secretes acids, dissolves much of the calcium from the bones, and throws it out though the urination.


If the woman under-urinates, as it happens in most of the menopaused women, such liberated calcium gets into the cells that make up the soft tissues, and gives rise to lumps, cysts, cancers, thickening of blood vessels (arterio- and atherosclerosis), heart blockages, etc.


The irony is, the misconceived Gynaecologists pump into such a woman, more and more of the calcium, with the assumption that calcium is lacking.


Thus it becomes a vicious cycle. The entire mishap is based on the misinterpretation of information, which should not happen anymore.


The latter situation compels me to repeat the above explanation again and again under different contexts. I hope the readers would kindly bear with me for this.

Factor-5: Round (moon-shaped) face


When abundant calcium accumulates within the body* of a person, he/she develops a round, bulged and moon-shaped face**.


(* We know how excessive calcium accumulates within the body. It happens essentially because of under-urination due to (a) reduced water intake, (b) profuse sweating after drinking plenty of water, (c) consuming excessive calcium-rich food, calcium-enriched items, and / of calcium supplements)

(** Often, the face in women becomes round; while in men, it becomes pear-shaped, with hanging chin.)


Along with this, the sex desire and performance of the people with moon-shaped face also tend to become hopeless.


Calcium excess in people with moon-shaped face tends to ruin several body functions, including movement of the seminal fluid*.

(* Let me justify this statement, for I need to prevent a samll and possible misunderstanding:

In the first place, if you see my book "Sex Problems", I have mentioned there that intake of freely available calcium gives a (instantaneously) strong desire for sex. It works as an aphrodisiac.

That is why, among most of the Indians, they encourage bridegroom to chew betelnut and leaves rubbed with lime (calcium) on the nuptial night (i.e., first night).

Of course, this chewing also removes mouth odour, besides making kissing a wonderful experience. (There seems to be no comparison to this.)

When  EXCESSIVE calcium gets absorbed into the PROSTATE gland, and if one AVOIDS ejaculation of the semen for prolonged periods, then, the cells that make up the prostate gland get enlarged - in a manner similar to the facial cells, giving rise to ENLARGED PROSTATE, and then to Prostate Calculi (i.e., stones there), Prostate Cancer, and the like.

This is what I meant by saying  "Calcium excess ruins several body functions, including movement of the seminal fluid". 

Again, this refers essentially to people with moon-shaped face.

Iron absorption too declines**.

(** Calcium suppresses the absorption and utilisation of iron)


The red blood cells tend to get reduced, while the white blood cells and platelets may increase.


Enlargement of the prostate* in men due to this calcium excess would hamper the free flow of the semen during coitus.


(I have found prostate enlargement occurring due to excessive consumption of soups (e.g. about 10 times a week).


(Soups are extracts of calcium from vegetable or animal matter)


In round-faced women, Fallopian tubes can get blocked; lumps, cysts, fibroids, cervical mucous, white discharges, etc. can occur, interfering with several of the body functions.


Their desire for sexual relations would get immensely suppressed.


Thus, if a person is going to develop a round face, it would only indicate that the person’s sex potentials are going to be very much depressed.


To overcome the above problem, a person, whether that is a male or a female, should develop a triangular, narrow or a thin face*.


Any such (narrow and thin-faced) person whom you could see on the street can be almost certainly assumed to have excellent sex potentials.


(* Such NARROW faces are typical of Thin, Perfect, and Obesity Type I people.

If you happen to be a person with round face, please evaluate your standing.

Would you not agree with what I have found?

Is it not true that your (referring to the round-faced) sex potentials have diminished substantially eversince you have developed such a round face?

May I request the round-faced people to comment on this clinical observation.

For that matter, even the narrow-faced people could write-in to express their own sex potentials.

While doing so, I hope, you would kindly avoid attacking me.




I will try to publish any fair comment, either way.

If mistakes are found in my findings, if I cannot defend, I will, without hesitation, accept them, and re-evaluate the study.


Rule-5: Develop an angular face to increase your sex potentials.


This can be achieved by draining away excessive calcium that has unnecessarily accumulated within the body.


Drinking about 2 or 3 litres of water daily (at proper intervals), urinating nearly all of it, drinking distilled water or rain water, eating acid fruits, guarding to defecate shapely faeces once daily, avoiding slimy stools, avoiding calcium-enriched foods and calcium supplements will give a person an angular face.


Men can lose plenty of the unwanted calcium thought the seminal fluid.

Hence, frequent sex is very good for men for the management of very good health.


It is equally important not to lose the body water through profuse sweating.


The water intake : urine output ratio should measure 1.0, for perfect health.

Misinterpretation-15: Some people develop intolerance for lactose. Such persons should not take milk, or even coffee or tea with milk. They should refrain it altogether.


Evaluation: INCORRECT:


In the process of conducting the Group Therapy programmes, I have come across people who love to take coffee or tea with milk, but say that they are scared to take simply because their body has developed lactose intolerance.



These people complain that milk intake gives them gastritis, rapid heartbeat (palpitation) and short breadth


I allow them to keep away from such milk-added drinks during the first week. However, I offer them the same after that, assuring them that they are no more lactose-intolerant. From then on, they start enjoying such beverages without any adverse reaction.


Let us evaluate the cause that makes them lactose-intolerant:


In the first place, only the over-weight or obese people develop this kind of lactose intolerance.


This, in reality, is not intolerance for milk as such.


The obese people are bound to have accumulated abundant calcium within their body due to under-urination.


The milk contains abundant calcium in it. Therefore, any intake of milk will mean that extra calcium, over and above the body’s tolerance limit, is entering into the body.


The brain puts up an agitation against such calcium addition, and it gets translated in the form of gastritis, palpitation, short-breadth, loss of appetite, and a few more symptoms.


The so-called lactose-intolerance is in fact, intolerance of calcium, rather than for milk itself.


In our Group Therapy, in the process of detoxifying a person’s physique, we leach out all the excess calcium from most of the soft tissues.



Once such a removal is achieved, the person who had suffered from such intolerances will not suffer any more. The person can start enjoying any beverage that has milk in it, without any fear of distress.


However, it is important to remember not to overload body with calcium.)


Misinterpretation-16: Calcium is good for your bones and teeth: take plenty of it.

Evaluation: No, this is not true!


This an overrated untruth, parading as truth.


No doubt it is calcium that enters into the makeup of bones, teeth, nails, and several other structures in the human body. However, it does not mean that our body requires enormous quantities of the same for its well-being.


When it comes to good health-keeping, the rule to remember is that “anything in excess is harmful, dangerous, and can even be fatal”.


Too much of calcium will give only ill-health to all humans. Tumours and cancers and many fatal diseases are the result of excessive calcium accumulation within the body.


The dangers and adverse effects of excessive calcium, are discussed in greater detail in my books on Obesity, Heart Problems, and also in the earlier pages of this book.


Calcium that is naturally present in the foods we eat is good enough for the maintenance of good bones and teeth. So, extra supplementation is not at all a necessity. .

Misinterpretation-17: Take more calcium to prevent osteoporosis after menopause

Evaluation: GROSS MISTAKE!


Women who have menopaused become victims of this erroneous information. Let us see how and why:


Many women tend to lose, at a rapid rate, large quantities of calcium from their bones after they have stopped menstruating.


Such a loss forms numerous pores in the bones, resulting in the development of osteoporosis. As a result, even a small knock or a fall tends to break the bones, making one’s life miserable.


Since osteoporosis is the result of colossal loss of calcium, doctors prescribe massive doses of calcium supplements to menopaused women.


When bones progressively deteriorate, the patients are guided to take more and more of calcium. In addition to calcium tablets, they are advised to drink lots of calcium enriched milk, oatmeal, anchovies (ikan bilis) and several such calcium-rich foods.


I had observed one 65 years old woman living in Ipoh Road, Kuala Lumpur, experiencing indescribable pain because of osteoporosis. She also developed a hunch-back. She was mourning in pain for 24 hours, non-stop.


When I added up all the major sources of calcium she was given, it came to about 18,000 mg a day.


The daily requirement of calcium for an adult is recognised to be about 450 mg. The same for growing up children is twofold.


The above being the case, how can an aged woman’s body tolerate such massive dose of 18,000 mg of calcium?


I have the answer for it. The following analogy will explain the true situation:


I request you to hold a brick weighing 1 kg over your palms. You will do it with ease.



If I add four more bricks, you can still hold them. If another five are added to increase the weight to 10 kg, you could still hold them, but with great difficulty. Let us assume that is your maximum holding capacity.


What would happen if I added one more brick?


You would drop from your palms the entire lot of 11 kg, rather than dropping away just the excess 1 kg.


Human body tends to behave this way when it is overloaded with calcium, or any other substance.


In reality, menopaused woman accumulates plenty of calcium within her body. When it becomes too much to tolerate, the brain removes it (drastically) by secreting acids (e.g., lactic acid), and that results in osteoporosis.


So, a menopaused woman should try to reduce the intake of calcium-rich foods and drinks, and also try to eliminate as much as possible the calcium that has accumulated as a result of cessation of menstrual discharges. She would then be safe without any problem, including osteoporosis.

Misinterpretation-18: Reduced calcium intake can give toothache. Therefore, take more of it, and also use toothpastes that contain high calcium.

Evaluation: WRONG MESSAGE.



Under normal circumstances, people do not suffer from calcium deficiency. This is so because, practically all the foods we eat contain calcium.


Some foods contain plenty of it, and some others contain lesser quantities.


However, if calcium intake happens to be inadequate during the growth period of a child, the teeth may not form well. That is all to it.


So, reduced calcium will not give any toothache. However, if the enamel that covers the tooth gets removed because of chewing sour fruits (being acidic), the teeth will become highly sensitive, and that can give a great deal of discomfort while chewing food subsequently.


Toothache should be due to its decay or receding gum. Over-brushing of teeth using a brush that may contain hard bristles can result in gum receding.


Food particles left at the interspaces between teeth tend to become good food for bacteria.


The bacterial invasion gives rise to tooth decay. This will not happen if the mouth is rinsed well with water after eating food.


One should gargle the mouth as a habit, and this should be done even if one eats a tiny bit of food, especially sticky items such as chocolates, biscuits and sweets.


Children should be trained to gargle their mouth after every meal, so that they will continue to do that in their adulthood.


Among people living in cold countries, mouth gargling does not exist as a normal practice.


This is related to their living environment. In Winter, even stored water becomes ice-cold, and that makes gargling or even washing the face in the mornings almost impossible.


This tends to promote tooth decay. At the same time, in cold climate, the bacteria do not act vigorously as it does under tropical conditions*. Therefore, the tooth decay slows down.

(*This is why the food in refrigerators does not get spoiled. It is difficult for bacteria to survive under intensely cold temperatures. Their growth retards under chill conditions. Warmth promotes bacterial action.)


Thus, the two opposing factors tend to make tooth decay somewhat similar to what happens in the tropical countries.


No one should attempt overloading the body with excessive calcium through any of the sources such as taking calcium supplements or enriching the drinking water with calcium.


These, in the long run, would give the person any one of the stone diseases such as kidney stone or prostate enlargement, blood vessel thickening and heart diseases, lumps, tumour and/or cancer.


Use of calcium-enriched toothpaste should also be considered redundant. Most of the toothpastes tend to contain substantial quantities of calcium in them.


Irrespective of the amount of calcium present in the toothpastes, it would be better to brush the teeth only for a few seconds.


Further, proper brushing of the teeth requires the use of only a tiny bit of the toothpaste. It should be enough to use less than just half a centimetre of toothpaste on a wet brush. (You cannot brush the teeth properly if you use more paste).


Scraping the tongue after brushing using a tongue cleaner and thorough rinsing of the mouth after brushing would help in the upkeep of oral hygiene.

Misinterpretation-11: Drink plenty of water: Does not matter how much you urinate.

Evaluation:
WRONG!

Almost all the health advocates keep instructing people to drink ‘plenty’ of water. Yet, they do not talk anything about urinations.

Most health advocates never even bother to consider the importance of urination. This is probably due to the fact they have overlooked the need for urination to remove the toxins from within the body.

They strongly and erroneously believe that the sweat is capable of removing all the toxic substances from the body. It is because of this that they encourage people to do physical exercises that would promote profuse sweating.


I have elaborately discussed the dangers of excessive water consumption, profuse sweating and under-urination in all my books. More can be read in the later pages of this book as well.

Drinking plenty or unlimited quantities water will drain off most of the needed nutrients from the body, and that can give the person a wide variety of problems, including hyper-hidrosis (i.e.,profuse sweating), mineral deficiencies, hyperacidosis and related diseases, poor vision, hyperactive state, imbalance in the body’s electrolyte composition, and the like.

The total quantity of water consumed will have to be restricted to anything between 7 to 10 glasses ( approximately 2 to 2½ L) level per day, depending upon the body size of the person.

Greater importance should be given to urination. It is absolutely vital that the person urinates at least about 7 times daily. It would be better if he/she can urinate about 9 or 10 times.

All the above readings are true for tropical-living people. These can be changed to a small extent to suit the environmental conditions of the temperate-living, highland-living, or desert-living people.


Let us remember: Drinking far too much of water, and all that at one go can even result in the death of the person: the blood vessels in the brain can rupture.


Misinterpretation-12: Drinking plenty of fruit juice, instead of water, is OK for good health.

Evaluation:
WRONG!

Many health-conscious executives, who are affluent, tend to drink fruit juices, soy bean milk and the like all the time.

They often refrain from drinking plain water, believing that their health will be good as long as they consume 8 glasses of any liquid.

After a few years, when they reach the age of 48 or so, they end up getting high blood pressure, heart blockage, diabetes and the like.

Let us see what can go wrong if a person drinks only juices and beverages, and not water:

We need water to wash an utensil used for cooking food. Since soup contains water, can soup be used to wash the utensil?

Soup could clean the vessel to some extent. However, a thorough cleansing can be done only with the use of clean water.

For perfect cleansing, we may require the use of some soap or dish washing liquid as well.

The above analogy is applicable to our body system. We need water for the digestion of all the food we eat, for transportation of the digested substances, for proper blood and lymph fluid circulations, and the like.

Only clean water can do all the above perfectly. Whereas, the water content in the fruit juices and beverages can do this only to a lesser degree.

A blood that has the right composition of all its constituents plus water will help in the upkeep of its pressure at the right scale.

Drinking juices and beverages alone (without water intake) tends to raise the pressure.

Fruit juices themselves contain plenty of calcium. Therefore, instead of helping in the removal of the calcium excesses, they would only add on the already existing over-load. This would then create arterio-sclerosis (thickening of the blood vessels) and thereby further increase the blood pressure and blockages in the heart.

My books on Obesity (1998) and the one Heart Problems, Diabetes and Related Diseases (2001), have more information on aspects concerning the various causes of high blood pressure.

The correct health-keeping procedure requires drinking clean water most of the time. However, one can certainly take fruit juices and beverages in addition to water intake. Yet, it is important to guard against going overboard when it comes to the total quantity of liquid + water consumption.

Apart from all the above, eating fruits along with their edible membranous skin is better than drinking their juices. This is so because, they contain cellulose fibres that help in easy defecation.



Misinterpretation-13: Drinking carrot juice is very good for your health, and therefore, you can take a glass of it daily.

Evaluation:
WRONG!

Carrot is one of the good vegetables. This is best eaten in the form of vegetable as such, along with the staple food, such as rice, noodles and the like.

Even the best of all the foods should not be eaten all the time. Based on this rule, one, two or three servings of carrot can be eaten about twice or thrice a week, and not on a daily basis.

However, if one fancies drinking carrot juice, no harm will be done if taken once or twice a week, but not more.

It is important to peel off the skin of carrots, before it can be crushed to make a juice of it.

The skin removal is important because, all underground root, tuber and rhizome vegetables, including potato, sweet-potato, carrot, beetroot, radish, turnip, onion, garlic, and the like, keep poisons in their skin.

If the skin of these stored foods are not protected with poisons, then, several of the soil-living organisms will eat them away even before they can reach their maturity level.

However, one peace-giving information is that all these poisons tend to decompose if heated up. Therefore, the cooking process will make them harmless for human consumption.

Thus, it is harmful to eat uncooked skins of potato, beetroot, carrot and the like.



Misinterpretation-14: Drinking cow’s milk is really good for you. Take daily one or two glasses of it. The abundant calcium in it will strengthen your bones and teeth.

Evaluation
: WRONG!

The above statements are untrue`. Let us evaluate the truth behind the above statement:

Mother’s milk contains 20 mg of calcium. A newborn baby drinking it will certainly develop good bones, in a manner identical to its father or mother.

Cow’s milk contains 120 mg of calcium. A calf drinking it will develop a bone structure similar to that of a cow or bull.

A human baby drinking undiluted cow’s milk all the time will develop bones similar to that of the cow or a bull.

Likewise, if a calf is fed with human milk all the time, for the sake of experimentation, it can be seen suffering from inadequacy and developing smaller bones similar to humans.

Apart from the above, the following remains as another important truth:

A human baby or a calf is totally dependent upon mother’s milk for a time.

Once the baby or the calf grows up, the milk becomes inadequate for further growth and well-being. They start eating other foods from external sources, and these may come from other vegetables or meat sources.

In Nature, no animal – whether that be a grown-up cow or a tiger – drinks milk from the mother after beginning to eat solid food items obtainable from external sources.

This is so because, none of the grown-up requires milk for further living.

Forcing adult humans to drink milk will only land them in danger.

The following are some such dangers:

Excessive calcium accumulation gives rise to blood vessel thickening, heart blockages, various stone diseases, lumps, tumours, cancers and the like, including hypothyroidism.

In the process of evolution over billions of years, the human body has evolved using the calcium that is naturally present in the foods and water.

If that happened to be excess at any time, such excesses, without any special effort on the part of the person concerned, had drained off though urinations. Thus, the body stayed in good health all the time.

Based on all the above facts, humans do not need to drink cow’s milk for the upkeep of health. However, no harm will be done if it is taken on and off, at irregular intervals, provided the person drinks adequate quantity of water and urinates properly.

Yet, it is not advisable to take milk on a regular basis.

On the other hand, cow’s milk when turned into mildly sour-tasting yoghurt by the bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus, it becomes useful for human consumption, in that it helps in digestion as well as in the removal of excessive calcium, for that itself becomes acidic with the typical sour taste of acids.


The fact ramains that Indians have been taking youghut (thick one called thayiru, and highly diluted one called Moru), with a clear scientific notion that it would help in digestion, and also in health keeping, for the past few thousand years. Clear-cut records, written some 2000 years ago, are available now as proof of this practice.

Drinking salted Moru, in the place of fruit juices or milk, helps in the removal of excessive calcium as well, for it is a mildly acidic drink, perfectly suited to drink by mid-day time.

Misinterpretation-8: You should always boil the water before drinking it.


Evaluation: WRONG! Let us see the effects of drinking boiled water:


If fishes are raised in an aquarium tank that is filled with pond or river water, they will live happily. Of course, we have to aerate the water constantly, or change it often. If not, they will die once the oxygen in the water gets exhausted.


If the tank is filled with tap water that has been treated with chlorine, the fishes would die of chlorine poisoning.


When we boil tap water, most of the chlorine would escape, and germs if present would die, leaving the water safer for consumption. However, in the process of boiling, the free oxygen contained in the water would escape, and that would make the water ‘lifeless’.


If such a lifeless water is used, all the fishes in the tank would die, for want of oxygen.


Drinking such ‘deoxygenated’ and ‘lifeless’ water on a regular basis will not be good for humans. This will deter proper digestion, in the first place.


Malaysian water that is supplied through the taps is very, very good. However, since chlorine and calcium are added during the process of its treatment, it would be better to eliminate these two before its consumption.


A simple and inexpensive carbon filled filter should be good enough to remove several of the undesirable additions. Drinking such filtered water, without boiling it, should be the best way for good health management.


However, if you are to use pond or river water, you may have to boil it and/or filter it before its use.
Even if you have been drinking only boiled water for the past 30 or 40 years, you can now start drinking normal cool (not chilled in fridge), unboiled, purified water, and you will not fall sick because of that.


However, there is every possibility that you may fall sick a bit if you suddenly changed to unboiled water, and this could occur only because of psychological problems. Therefore, you could slowly change it, starting with effect from the breakfast-time water.


Well, wish you a very happy water drinking!



Misinterpretation-9: Distilled water is pure like the rain water itself. It is good for you. Therefore, drink it all the time, if you can afford to buy or distil it.


Evaluation: WRONG! Our body has evolved over the past billions of years using only pond water.


The rain water, as it comes from the cumuliform (dark) clouds, before it reaches the soil, resembles almost similar to the distilled water.


Both the waters do not contain minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and several such alkaline minerals.


When rainwater flows over the soil, it picks up all the above minerals, and gathers in a pond. Thus, the pond water is mineral-rich.


The rain water absorbs carbon dioxide that is present in the air, and becomes acidic. Therefore, all the rain water is in the form of very mild carbonic acid.


In Chemistry, they explain this in the following manner:

H2O + CO2 = H2CO3 (Water + Carbon dioxide = Carbonic acid).


The distilled water loses all the minerals it had during the process of distillation, and therefore, the mere loss of alkaline nutrients makes it acidic.


If we drink acidic water, i.e., rain or distilled water all the time, it will remove from the body the much needed calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and all such alkaline substances through the process of leaching. Our urine will take them out of our body.


Our body turns acidic when it gets depleted of its alkaline nutrients. An over-acidification is called ‘hyperacidosis’.


When our body becomes hyperacidosed, the following mishaps will occur:


• We lose our immunity against ‘virus’.


• We can get sore throat, common cold and fever often.


• Rashes would form all over the skin, essentially on forehead.


• Hyperacidosis, at its extreme, can give rise to hepatitis, measles, chickenpox, shingles, HIV and even AIDS.


Drinking distilled or rain water has some benefits to offer as well:


• Severe loss of calcium from the body can reduce the weight of obese people.


• Lumps, cysts, fibroids, kidney stones, prostate stones, tumours, early cancers, blood vessel thickening and heart blockages, etc. are the result of calcium accumulation in various parts of the body*.


(* The medical faculty all over the world has been misled to believe that cancers are alkaline structures. I have established that cancers are definitely NOT acidic, and they are, without any doubt, alkaline: Read my book "The True Causes of All Diseases", and you will be totally convinced.)


Drinking distilled or rain water on a regular basis for about two or three months can dissolve away these structures, thus helping in the recovery to a tremendous extent.


Therefore, the conclusion drawn should be properly understood:


Skeletal-looking, Thin, and the Perfect category people should NOT drink distilled or rain water all the time. However, occasional consumption of these may not cause any harm.


Those who are obese, belonging to the categories of Obesity Types I and II can drink these on and off.


Types III and IV people could drink such waters half the time. In other words, about 50% of their water could come from these sources, whereas, the other 50% should consist of purified pond or tap water.


Those belonging to the Withered categories, i.e., those who have already developed heart blockages, tumours, cysts, stone diseases, cancers, etc. should drink one of these two types of waters ALL the time, until their diseases are completely cured.


It is best to drink acid water in the mornings and alkaline water in the evenings
.



Misinterpretation-10: Alkaline water is good for you: drink it all the time to maintain your body in perfect health.




Evaluation
: WRONG! We know that acidity and alkalinity are measured and expressed in terms of what is called a “pH”.



The pH scale has 14 readings: pH1.0 to 6.9 indicate that the substance is acidic, and 7.1 to 14 indicate that it is alkaline.



A liquid measuring pH1.0 is a strong acid, compared to pH2.0. Thus, pH6.9 is an extremely mild acid.



Likewise, pH7.1 is a very weak alkaline substance, and pH 14 is a strong alkaline substance.
The mid-point in the pH scale is 7.0, and this denotes a neutral reading: it is neither acid nor alkaline.



The lime we rub on betel leaves, being calcium, may have an alkaline pH of about 10.0 or so. The same could be true if some limestone hill fragments are dissolved in water.



An orange fruit, because of its citric acid, may measure about pH5.0 or so.



The pond water, gathering a wide variety of minerals found in the soil, normally tends to be about pH 7.2 or around that.



Since humans have evolved during the past billions of years consuming only the pond water, our blood pH has stabilised at pH7.2.



Whether we eat acid food, fruits and drinks or those of alkaline nature, our blood still stays at pH7.2.



However, our body tends to stay in a healthy state only if we consume about three-fifth alkaline food items and two-fifth acid food substances.



If we consume more acid substances, our body tends to become over-acidified, giving rise to hyperacidosis, as described under the previous misinterpreted topic, giving room for the development of a wide variety of ailments.



On the other hand, if we consume alkaline substances, since most of the alkalinity tends to come from calcium, they over-alkalise the body and give rise to hyperalkalosis.



Excessive calcium often accumulates in the soft tissues present in various parts of the body and hardens them.



Breasts, brain, various glands including the thyroid and the prostate, kidneys, the heart, blood vessels, liver, uterus, cervix, and several such organs are made up of soft tissues.



A continued accumulation of the calcium in these organs end up in the formation of lumps, cysts, fibroids, tumours, stones, blockages and cancers.



Therefore, one should not consume excessive calcium for any reason. Drinking alkaline water all the time will certainly give rise to one or more of the above problems that can give fatal results to the person.



However, alkaline water consumption would prove to be very good in the following instances:



A person who had developed hyperacidosis and one or more of the acid-related diseases such as rashes, measles, chickenpox, hepatitis, HIV-infection, AIDS, will get cured if he drinks the alkaline water continuously until he finds the cure.



Drinking alkaline water would cure the pain one may get at his/her knees due to the accumulation of acid fluids there – a problem called osteo-arthritis, or even rheumatic pain.



Skeletal or Thin persons wanting to put on weight could drink this alkaline water until they get their desired body weight. The danger would occur only if the correct or optimum level is exceeded.



Thus, the alkaline water consumption should be considered as some form of medication rather than a health keeping programme.

Misinterpretation-5: Rice is bad. Eat more of wheat.

Evaluation: Wheat grows well in temperate regions. Rice grows well in the Tropics.

People of the Tropical countries have been eating rice as their staple food since time immemorial - ever since man started cultivating his food. Likewise, people of the Temperate countries have been eating wheat products all the time.

Different products have become available nowadays because of improved transportation methods. This enhances the introduction of varied food types to people of different regions.

It should be certainly alright for people of the polar regions to eat occasionally food items from the equatorial regions..

Similarly, no harm will be done if the equatorial people consume Eskimo’s day-to-day foods for a change. However, these changes should not become the norm, for they may not suit the environmental conditions of the people.

Rice is certainly good for people of the Tropics. It will not give the Tropical living people any disease, or shorten their lives by any means. Polished rice has slightly more calcium (24mg). In several respects, parboiled rice (calcium: 7 mg) is very good for consumption. Parboiled rice (puzhungal arisi) will not produce gas in the stomach, and also would not give room for gastric problems.

Please feel free to eat and enjoy rice or rice-based foods without any hesitation, until your brain says “enough.” You will get enough energy for work, you will not put on weight, you will not get dizziness due to energylessness, eating plenty* of parboiled rice will drastically reduce pre-menstrual pain in women, it will not give white discharge, and will not give you any kind of disease!.


(* To reduce weight that may come through over-eating, the obese people should eat over-cooked rice. To put on weight, the thin or skeletal people should eat under-cooked rice. The sad thing is that, all obese people tend to like only under-cooked hard rice, and the skeletal people like over-cooked porridge-kind soft rice.)

The calcium content of rice is only about 10 mg* . The parboiled (puzhungal arisi, in Tamil) has even less: it is only 5 mg. or so. Therefore, you can afford to eat any amount of rice without any fear of developing blood vessel thickening, heart blockage, kidney stones, white discharge, lumps, cysts, fibroids, and cancers.

(* Wheat too contains only lesser amounts of calcium, about 17 or 20 mg - just about twice that of rice. Yet, in this sense, it is harmless. In other words, if people of the temperate region consume plenty of wheat, it will NOT give them any ill effects. Of course, even for them, it would be better not to grind it into an ultra-refined product.)

If you happen to overeat RICE, the only problem that can happen is, your stomach will become bulged.

Anyway, your brain will initially make you feel uncomfortable, and subsequently, induce you to vomit the excess, and that will save you from even minor mistakes.

I have made an observation: when you eat UNDER-COOKED FOODS MADE OF VERY HIGHLY REFINED WHEAT FLOUR WITHOUT OIL, it appears to create chronic constipation in many tropical living people. (White bread, poori, etc. do not seem to give any problem. However, I do not encourage people of tropical origin eating chappathi, especially those who have diabetes. Yet, others can eat it once a week or so, and not often.)

Under normal circumstances, over-ripe papaya fruit, chocolates, biscuits, groundnuts (peanuts), powdered milk, some of the pastries, are the ones that give rise to chronic constipation.

Again, chronic constipation, i.e., defecating slimy faeces in small quantities, several times a day, daily, along with the release of flatulence (i.e., foul-smelling gas) appears to be promoting the sugar content in the blood of diabetic people.

(The above understanding is just the opposite of what people have been believing all these days. When I heal people from their type-II diabetes, the first thing I do is to stop them from eating foods made of refined wheat flour cooked without oil, along with chocolates, biscuits, peanuts, powder milk, etc., for these too give rise to chronic constipation, and also worsen the diabetes.)

I have also observed clinically, chronic constipation (due to any of the above eatables) giving rise to psoriasis in the lower limbs – near the ankles.




Misinterpretation-6: High protein diet is good, and carbohydrates are bad. Therefore, eat more proteins.

Evaluation: This appears to be a silly statement. Carbohydrates yield ready energy for work and body functions.

Whereas, the proteins take much longer time to get digested, and they have to undergo a long process of chemical reactions before they can provide the required energy for work. In fact, the very digestion of protein requires some amount of ready energy.

At times, when you feel dizzy for want of food energy, you will feel like drinking sugared hot coffee or sweets. They would almost immediately recover you from the dizziness. On the other hand, if you were to eat some proteins, you will probably faint by the time the proteins begin to supply you with the needed energy.

Another undesirable thing that can happen because of eating too much of proteins is, that they will ferment in the small intestine and will release gasses that would bloat up your stomach, give you discomfort and gastritis.

We should not forget the fact that an adult human body requires about 60-70% carbohydrates, about 15-20% proteins, and about 15-20% fats and oils.

Carbohydrates provide the energy for work, the proteins for tissue building and its repair works, and the fats and oils, besides providing additional energy, has the potential to stay as stored energy, and also provide some cushioning effect between bones and tissues.

People living in the cold countries may require a little more of fats and oils, for they need them to resist the cold temperatures.

The fact remains that the tropical living people should consume more carbohydrates, and less of each of the other two.

I have observed that people in Malaysia have been consuming more proteins, essentially because of this erroneous belief.

We should realise that soy beans is not a native of the our region. However, we have now come to consume that in abundance, particularly because of the wrong notion that high protein is good for us.

Soybean is one of the richest sources of protein, and that probably has no comparison at all! Therefore, we have to consume that to a lesser extent than what we have been doing.

Again, let us remember that anything in excess can be dangerous.

Misinterpretation-7: Fats and oils are bad: they will increase the cholesterol content in your blood and will lead you to death. Cholesterol-free oils and foods will save you from death. Better to use non-stick pans to avoid oil usage.

Evaluation: God has given us a liver to produce bile juice, and gall bladder to store it until it is used up.

The function of bile juice is to emulsify fats and oils in order to help in their digestion for further utilisation.

Nature has not given us any digestive juice to digest soil and stone. Therefore we do not eat them. If we ate by mistake, they will get out of our body along with the faecal matter. (Of course they will be doing a wide variety of other harms.)

The cell walls of all plants, including vegetables and fruits, are made of cellulose material. This constitutes a fibrous form of carbohydrate. Our body has no capacity to digest even this substance. Therefore, they are removed along with the faeces – in fact, this forms the bulk of the undigested faecal matter.

The fibrous cellulose substance helps in toileting. Other than that, it is of no use to us. In other words, if we do not eat the cellulose, it does not give us any deficiency disease.

The cattle, such as cow and goat, have a digestive enzyme called cellulase. This can digest the cellulose cell wall.

This is the reason why we do not eat grasses and sedges, but cows and goats do.

Thus, if God intended us not to eat fats and oils, He would not have provided us with the bile juice.

The fact that our body regularly secretes bile juice shows that we should consume fats and oils, as parts of our daily diet.

Nature does not provide a facility incorporating in it a killer substance, for it would mean self-destruction and cessation of speciation.

Cholesterol present in the oils and fats are required for the well-being of the human body.

If we refrain from consuming cholesterol, the liver produces it by converting some other food substance, in order to maintain proper functioning of our body.

What happens if we purposely avoid the consumption of fats and oils, by listening to the erroneous teachers?

The bile juice in the gall bladder dries up to become a stone, giving us pain and other problems that necessitate the removal of the gallbladder itself through surgery.

In other words, if you do not consume oils and fats, you will develop gallstones!

Gall stones can be successfully dissolved by drinking a little of gingerly oil for a month or so. This has to be gradually increased from a drop of it to about a tablespoon a day. Taking it in the mornings on empty stomach works well.

I never follow people who advocate the use of non-stick pots and pans. Instead I use normal cookware, and use gingerly oil liberally for frying my foods, which form part of my daily food. I use palm oil for making murukku, papadam (appalam, in Tamil) and the like. Yet, my blood cholesterol fluctuates within the normal range as stipulated by our brains, and not by the physicians.

The moral is: Oils and fats are good, and we should consume them as part of our daily food.

Misinterpretation-4: For reducing the blood sugar level in diabetic patients, strongly bitter-tasting herb called .... is said to be very good. It would be better to take this on a regular basis. Since it is definitely a herbal product, it does not have any side-effect at all.


Evaluation: This is not a correct statement. In the first place, even iron-rich and other so-called beneficial herbs will have side-effects if consumed in excess.



Our taste buds in the tongue is capable of recognising what is good for the body and what is bad.



Sugars and carbohydrates taste good. Therefore, they are good for the body, for they are the ones that give energy for our very survival.



Likewise, sour taste would indicate that they are acid substances. Vitamin-C for instance is an acid, and that is why it tastes sour*.




(* If a rabbit or even an elephant becomes pregnant, it would crave for grazing sour-tasting leaves, for they contain vitamin-C that is needed during pregnancy. Identical phenomenon occurs in women too. Almost every pregnant woman would long for, for e.g., the sour-tasting mangos. Once the embryo develops, the craving goes off, indicating that the need for extra vitamin-C does not exist any more. This forms a natural instinct created by the brain.)

Our body requires salts of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and the like.



Therefore, we enjoy when we take foods that contain salt. Saltless foods are not good for us.



However, mislead by some misinformed health advocates, people force themselves to eat foods that contain extremely little salt, or none at all.



When it comes to bitter tasting foods, fruits and drinks, we do not enjoy eating or drinking them.



This is so because, our brain recognises the bitter taste to be associated at all times with poisons.



Thus, when you eat a food that contains an insecticide poison (over-sprayed, and under-washed), it would taste bitter.



The natural instinct one would get after chewing the toxic food is to spit it instantaneously. Some would even vomit it in an uncontrollable manner* .




(* We bought a big bundle of 'fresh-looking' onion leaves at the Pasar Malam (night market) just three days ago. I like to eat it raw with noodles, for it tastes delicious while at the same time, is rich in its iron content.



Knowing that they would have sprayed a lot of insecticide poisons while raising them at the field, I washed it well in running water, then soaked it in salt for a while. To make sure that the poisons are destroyed, I even kept the leaves immersed in the salted water, and just warmed it up.



I knew that cooking in high temperature would destroy most of the poisons, and that would make it safer for consumption. Yet, not wanting to lose the subtle taste the onion leaves would give, I just warmed it, rather than cooking it fully well.



I then added a substantial quantity of the onion leaves to a plate of 'mee goreng' (noodles), and started eating it, while enjoying the gymnastic displays put up by the lovely children at the China Olympics.



To my horror, I suddenly realised a terrible bitter taste. To confirm that it comes from the onion leaves, I just took one leaf, and chewed it, without mixing it with the noodles. My God! It was overly bitter!



I then ran to my kitchen, added two teaspoons of cooking salt to half a glass of water and drank it, knowing that salt water would induce vomiting. I felt it would be safer to vomit the entire lot of noodles I had eaten. I tried and tried again to vomit. I could not. Then thought,"OK, it is fine - let me see if this had any effect in me at a later time". With this idea, I slept away.



As I woke up the next morning, I started getting severe headache. This is an important thing for me, for, unlike many others, I almost never get headaches. Anyway, the pain was on until about 4.00 p.m.



By about 12 mid-night, it gave me pain in the heart. (I never get any kind of pain in my heart at any time, for any reason. I believe that I may not get such a pain even in future because I have been drinking enough water, urinating well, toileting well, and have also been consuming enough of fats and oils. In addition, I try my best to avoid pesticide toxicities and environmental pollutants).



I had taken plenty of water the previous night, on the assumption that I will urinate most of the poison. But it did not work as per my expectation, for the strong salted water I drank suppressed the free urination.



By narrating the above true story, I am trying to convince all the readers that all bitter tasting items are bound to be poisons.)




These are only natural, and are our brain's way of safeguarding our health and life.



One need not doubt about the fact that all bitter-tasting items are poisonous.



Some of the common vegetables we eat, such as bitter- gourd, Solanum torvum (Sundakkai in Tamil, Terong Pipit in Malay), Sesbania grandiflora leaves (Agathi keerai, in Tamil), etc. are very much bitter tasting.



No one need to doubt, these are all mild poisons.



However, if taken once in two weeks or so, they prove to be very good medicines in that they can kill the intestinal worms.



However, being mild, our body can take it, and does not get spoiled in any manner.



This statement would hold good only if one consumes all these only once in 10 days or so.


Consuming these too frequently would of course poison our body, and would give us some health problem which we may not attribute to the consumption of these sour-tasting vegetables.



We know that smoking tobacco and consuming alcoholic drinks are bad for health. Yet, we condition our mind to like them.



Further, when we repeatedly consume them, we tend to develop a likeness for even the undesirable ones.



Similar to the above, we tend to develop a craving for bittergourd and other such vegetables after eating them repeatedly, with the false belief of deriving 'wonderful' benefits from them.



On knowing the above, one may agitate to include the bitter-tasting 'wonder' herbs that are supposed to reduce the blood sugar in the diabetic people, together with other poisons of herbal origin.



The false belief that all herbs are non-poisonous should he altered. Let us remember that there are several poisonous herbs with great potentials to kill people almost instantly.

Now, let us evaluate the truth behind the claims that some of the bitter-tasting herbs are of great help to the diabetics. If true, how does it help?



If a person consumes a poison by mistake, or with a view to committing suicide, the brain tries to save the person from death.



In that process, it induces profuse sweating, tears in the eyes, froth in the mouth, vomiting, urination, diarrhoea (watery stools) and so on.



If these 'exudates' are examined, one can detect traces of the poisons in them.



Along these lines, if a person is going to take the strongly bitter tasting herb, the brain, on recognising that it is a serious poison, would try to eliminate it in the faeces, by giving rise to diarrhoea.



At this, let us recollect the true causes of type-2 diabetes:



It is not caused because of sugar, but occurs because of the accumulation of the free calcium excesses.



The correct curative procedure for this requires the person to urinate liberally and to defecate well, so that all the free calcium excesses would get eliminated from the body.



In fact, if we induce dysentery-like toileting using some strong herbal laxative, the faecal matter containing a substantial quantity of calcium would get removed from our body. From then on, the blood sugar level in the diabetic would go to a much lesser level, leading to a permanent cure in due course.



Similarly, when a bitter-tasting herb induces easy motions, the blood sugar level would go down just for a day or two. After that, the level would return to its original state.



However, if the person is going to take the bitter herb daily, then, the patient would develop what I have been describing as chronic constipation (i.e., defecating shapeless, smelly and slimy stools, more than once daily, along with the release of foul-smelling flatulence).



As a result of this, the lessening effect of the bitter herb would get nullified, and there may not be any positive result after a while.



Apart from the above, one other dangerous thing that can happen because of taking the bitter tasting herb on a daily basis includes the following:



The poison can cause damages to the brain, give headaches as a symptom, and can even cause heart pains, and possibly more undesirable negative results.



Therefore, the belief that a bitter herb can reduce the blood sugar level should be considered only as myth, and not a total truth.



We know well by now, the best way to reduce blood sugar level and to get a cure is to (a) drink about 2 to 2.5L of water daily, (b) urinate nearly all of it, (c) avoid chronic constipations, and (d) continue taking sugar, salt, and calcium-containing foods in moderate quantities.
