BEST AGE FOR GIRLS TO ATTAIN PUBERTY

 Since long I have been wanting to address the immense problems the womenfolk have been experiencing.

If you sit in isolation, and begin to contemplate a bit deeper into the personal problems every woman has to undergo in her lifetime, you will end up pitying the whole lot of them immensely.

A woman will not be a woman, if she does not attain puberty, and that happens somewhere around her 12th year.

That initiates her problem, which continues in the form of menstruation for next four decades or so. 

When the latter stops, a fresh problem, labelled “menopause”, would begin to ‘suffocate’ her.

When men do not suffer such problems, why should the women do?

Are they cursed? Is Nature selectively unkind?

 I have been conducting healthcare programs in Malaysia, Singapore and India, for the past 37 years, called, “Group Therapy*, wherein I train people to lead a disease-free life, for a prolonged period.

Men and women of all walks of life participate in the program, in search of leading a trouble-free life.

It was during these occasions that I came across large number of women who have been undergoing such ‘tortures’.

When helped, they feel as if they have taken a ‘re-birth’.

This has prompted me to write a book on the subject. The idea is to help all those out there in the world to lead a trouble-free, comfortable life.

I started writing this book exactly ten years ago. Since, I have been giving priority to other topics such as heart problems, cancer, and diabetes, I had to delay it this long to finish it.

Many do not know what is the right age for girls to attain puberty

Whenever that happens, they just accept it as norm.

However, the doctors keep telling them that early or late maturity may not be good for a girl. 

Yet, no one seems to know the right age for reaching such an adulthood.

Having done an extensive study, mostly based on clinical observations, particularly in an ecological viewpoint, I have come up with definite answers for many of the problems that are related to women.

Now, I am able to recognise the various risk factors that are associated with  white and yellow discharges, erratic menses, pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause and related hardships; and of course, the much-disturbing osteoporosis that may or may not affect women in their later years.

I have given vivid explanations for all these phenomena in the 144-page book “Menses, Menopause, and Osteoporosis”, which I have just brought out from the printers. (ISBN 978-967-9988-17-8, priced at RM15.00, now available in most of the bookshops in Malaysia.)

Let me present here a few useful excerpts from the above book:

Best age for attaining maturity / puberty
            
The reproductive body-parts of a girl would not have attained adequate growth if she ‘comes to age’ in her 9th or 10th year.

Even her 11th year would not have given her proper development.

Whereas, maturity in her 14th age may not give her the optimum development, because of the delayed growth of her body parts.

Based on the above observations, the right age for attaining puberty appears to be late-12 or early-13, and not any different.

Parents interested in the welfare of their young daughters should make sure to feed them with good food, guide them to drink about 1.5 L of liquids (mostly water), and void nearly all of it through about 7 urinations or so, daily.

When it comes to girls nearing their puberty period, any game or sports (such as running races) that would make them sweat profusely, may not be suitable.

This is so because, profuse sweating would reduce the quantity of urine they void, and thereby make them over-weight or obese, by enhancing the accumulation of excessive calcium within their body, thus giving them all undesirable problems, including white discharge, strong body odour, overgrowth in terms height, and the like.

Further, such strenuous exercises tend to produce too much of the male sex hormone (called Androgen) in girls, and tend to suppress the production of the female hormone called Oestrogen, which tend to exert an adverse effect on growing up girls.

I have provided in my book adequate evidences for all such observations I have made.

 I have elaborated in the book a great deal on white and yellow discharges most women get .

These too have definite reasons.

It may be of interest to nearly every woman to know that there are several other minor and major factors that are statistically significantly associated with the occurrences of such white discharges. They include the following:

*  Women who have white discharges seem to have, almost for certain, plenty of ear wax and associated ear-itch.

*  Their face tends to turn moon-shaped (See one of my previous postings on this subject, in this BLOG). 

*  The occurrence of profuse body sweat or hot flashes appear to be inevitable.

*  Their Body Mass Index (BMW) increases for sure. 

*   Bad-breadth, hair dropping, black-colourations on their tongue, etc. are also associated with the discharge.

*   Women who tend to have abundant white discharge appear to have greater risk of developing breast lumps, nagging cough, sinus problems, high cholesterol in their blood, and also pimples.

*   Some of them tend to have rapid heartbeat - palpitations. 

*   A few also tend to have high systolic blood pressure.

The surprising thing is that, none of the pre-menstrual syndrome - the PMS or PMT, seems to have any relation to these white discharges.
           
Factors that give rise to white discharges:

Overweight or obese women appear to be the major victims of this menace.

Those who drink much less water, eat rapidly without chewing high-density food, urinate only about thrice  (or four times) a day,  drink milk and other calcium-rich beverages, defecate slimy faeces most of the time, and may not eat fruits - especially the acid fruits such as oranges, tend to suffer the menace.

Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS/PMT):

When it comes to PMS, I have given well-founded reasons for most of the problems associated with it.

Such problems include increase in body weight, swelling of the breasts, water retention, breasts becoming tender, occurrence of hot flashes, diarrhoea or constipation, headaches, craving to eat sweets, and occurrence of pain at the hip.

Apart from the above physical distresses, they also suffer from emotional problems such as irritability and changing moods, insomnia, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and the like.
  
I have also given in the book remedial measures to prevent nearly all of the PMS/PMT problems.

Menopause:

This is another problem that keeps haunting all women, almost without exception.

I have brought out to recognition all the factors that are related to the much-feared osteoporosis.

In conclusion, it appears women need not go for hormone treatment for a possible osteoporosis, for the risk factors that are responsible for this problem can be completely prevented from happening.

In essence, this book entitled “Menses, Menopause, and Osteoporosis (ISBN ISBN 978-967-9988-17-8, priced at Malaysian Ringgit 15.00) should prove very useful to every woman, whether she be in the tropics or temperate countries, for leading a peaceful, trouble, tension-free, and drug-free life.

I have written it in simple English, without the use of difficult-to-understand medical terms, so that every woman who could read basic English should be able to benefit by reading it.

WHY ARE GIRLS SHORTER THAN MEN?

One of my FACEBOOK friends asked the above question. 

Her own answer was: "... is just to hear man's heartbeat".
That was nice!

Another friend, in his romantic mood, said, "Aye, it is easier to kiss..." 

I think, he must have had neck pain kissing a taller girl. 
He never thought of the girl. 
Will it not be difficult for her?

Let us leave that kind of argument to the lovers themselves.

But then, do you know the real, scientific answer to this question?

I doubt it, for you cannot find a meaningful explanation in any book, in any language, and in any part of the world!

Let me present here my OWN findings, definitely from scientific point of view:

*************
I am sure you must have seen children born as twins. 

At times, both of them will be males, or females, or one could be a male and the other, a female.

Let us consider the case of twins, where one is a boy and the other is a girl.

Let is also assume that both the children are brought up by the same mother. 

You can observe them to be almost identical in every respect, including their height and weight until they are about 10 or 11 years old.

At this time, the girl attains MATURITY. 

It could happen in her 11th year if she happens to be a THIN girl. 

If she is an obese or overweight girl, she would attain maturity in her 13 or 14.

(If a gril is obese or overweight, it must have been due to the accumulation of excessive calcium within her body, which again, must have been due to, mostly, UNDER-URINATION. 

She could be urinating only about thrice daily.)

(A person urinating about 7, 8 or 9 times daily would end up being THIN.  Urinating more than about 10 times daily makes a person SKELETAL.)

Now, let us see what happens to the girl who has attained puberty.

Her body throws out at monthly intervals abundant wastes. 

This waste is from the ruptured lining of the uterus. 
It contains blood, ruptured tissues from the lining of the uterus PLUS, a lot of CALCIUM.

It is CALCIUM that makes a male or female - any person, overweight or obese.

If abundant calcium goes out in the menstrual fluid, regularly and repeatedly at monthly intervals, the girl would NOT grow TALL, for the bones will not grow much in the absence of the calcium excess.

In other words, if there happens to be excessive calcium within the body, then, the bones would grow longer, thus making the person very tall.

This phenomenon will happen only during the GROWTH period of the child. 

Growth in height will occur only between 10 and say, 20 years of age.

The regular monthly loss of calcium through the menstrual fluid will restrict the girl’s growth, and she would then remain relatively a shorter person.

(Excessive loss blood / calcium tends to keep the girl stunted.)

When it comes to a boy, at 11 or so, he begins to MASTURBATE, without being told by any one. 

It is done based on instinct.

The seminal fluid is FULL of CALCIUM. 

So, frequent masturbations remove from the body substantial quantities of calcium.

(If he does not masturbate for any reason, then, the seminal fluid, wherein there is abundant calcium, gets out of his body while asleep. This is called "Nocturnal Emission".

Often, such emissions are accompanied by sweet dreams.)

Even frequent masturbation and related loss of calcium cannot match or equal the amount of calcium that gets lost in the girl through menstruations.

As a result, some amount of calcium will be staying within his body.

As a result, a masturbating boy would grow taller than his twin sister. 

Yet, his growth in terms of height would only be relatively nominal.

If the twin brother happens to be masturbating either occasionally or rarely, then, the boy would grow up into a six-footer!

This will be so because, all the calcium that would have got lost through masturbations, would stay within the body, thus promoting the lengthwise growth of the bones.

(We know that bones, teeth and finger nails are made up of calcium!).

If the children are made to consume plenty of dairy products, such as milk and cheese, they would then grow taller than other children.

Apart from the above natural phenomenon, if the children are given CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS during their growth period, then BOTH of them would grow to become very much taller - taller than their own parents.

If the girl consumes synthetic supplementations - whether that be calcium mineral or vitamins, she would then develop HAIR GROWTH in unwanted places, such as in the arms, legs, and even on the chest. 

This is called HIRSUTISM.

(Girls, in fact, none of the children, should be given synthetic supplements of vitamins and minerals with the assumption that the food they consume is very much inadequate.)

Well, friends, now you know why a girl grows up to be a shorter person than a boy.

We tend to expect the wives to be shorter than the husbands.

Imagine the wife to be taller than her husband. Some pairs of this kind do exist here and there. 

However, they don’t look nice - at least in an aesthetic sense. 

This is so because, we have become accustomed to seeing the wife to be (of the same height or) shorter than her husband. 

Any variation from 'norm' tends to bring about some sex-related problems to a significant extent.

Can you guess what they could be?

I think, I should leave it to you to ponder over.

6. Delayed puberty in girls:
In Nature, the attainment of puberty indicates the readiness of a female to reproduce.


This seems to be directly related to the food consumption of the individual concerned.


In the plant kingdom, if an individual plant is about to die because of dryness, or of lack of nutrients, then, the sickly plant quickly produces some tiny, weak and unhealthy flowers, gets fertilized soon, and reproduces equally unhealthy and puny seeds, and then dies.


This perhaps is the way in which Nature tries to ascertain the upkeep of the progeny of a species, so that it would not go extinct.


However weak and reduced, the seeds would germinate at a later date when there is a rainfall, and that would help in the upkeep of the progeny.


On the contrary, those plants that are over-fed with, let us say, excessive nitrogen fertilizer (compared to the rest), tend to become very bushy, and may produce a few flowers much later, or may not produce flowers at all (similar to an infertility status).


Somewhat similar to this, if a girl happens to be a grossly under-nourished puny-looking person (either due to poverty, or to her excessive water consumption and over-urinations habits*), she can be seen to attain puberty even in her 10th year.


(* Excessive water intake and excessive urination would deplete even the wanted nutrients from the body, making it acidic)

A girl in very good health tends to get her puberty in her 13th year.


Whereas, she who unilaterally over-accumulates calcium because of under-urination, chronic constipation, and further spoiled by consuming too much of chocolates, dairy products and sea food, becomes obese, and gets her puberty only at the age of 14 or 15.


At its extreme, a girl who consumes calcium supplements in addition to all the above, at times, does not get her puberty at all.


Thus, the under-urination and chronic constipation seem to be playing a major role in the life of young women.



7. Erratic menses
Any woman of menstruating age, who under-urinates and has chronic constipation, certainly experiences erratic menstrual periods.



This seems to be nearly-directly related to the intensity of her calcium accumulation within the body.



If a girl who urinates four times daily and experiences 'not-so-bad' kind of chronic constipation tends to have only slight deviations from her normal menses. The discharge and intervals tend to be more or less regular.



She who grossly under-urinates and suffers from serious chronic constipation tends to experience highly erratic menses. Such a woman becomes obese, and would also emit strong body odour.


If a girl, in addition to all the above, consumes abundant calcium-enriched foods and its supplements, may not even have her periods at a stretch even for four or five months.
She tends to develop morbid obesity, with all the negative aspects of health.



If and when the urination and toileting habits are corrected, along with a drastic reduction of calcium-rich foods, a woman's menstrual cycle would return to a norm.


Intake of distilled or rain water, and consumption of acid foods and fruits would help substantially in the recovery of good health.



8. White discharges (Leucorrhoea)
All over-urinating women with good toileting habit get only acid natured, watery-kind of mildly sweat-smelling discharge. If they happen to get any white discharge a day or two before menses, it would only be minimal.



Whereas, all those women, who under-urinate and have chronic constipation, while being in the process of becoming obese, will certainly have awfully-smelling white discharges.


We have already discussed that the brain tries to throw away the unwanted wastes through all the openings in the body, such as the mouth, nostrils, eyes, ear, naval, vagina/ penis, sweat pores (especially at the armpits) and anus. These happen while the person is fast asleep by night.


Such disposals include the plaque formation on the tongue surface, dirty chunks in the nostrils, brown wax in the ears, slimy and smelly wax in the naval, brownish smegma formations under the prepuce in the penis, and white discharges in the vagina.


It forms a sticky substance when it comes through the sweat pores, and slimy faecal matter at the anus.


All these that are due to the accumulation of the excessive calcium within the body would almost disappear if the person concerned starts drinking adequate water, urinating liberally, and avoiding chronic constipation, besides reducing her/his calcium consumptions.



9. Ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the womb):
I have observed this happening only in women who are obese essentially due to calcium accumulation.



I have doubtlessly traced such an obesity to be due, not to plain over-eating alone, but due to under-urination and chronic constipation, coupled with the consumption of calcium-rich foods (e.g., chocolates, anchovies).


Enlarged cells, and thereby the enlarged tissues and blocked passages tend to 'push away' the fertilised egg (zygote) to 'other places' than the womb itself.


This results in the baby developing outside the womb, which may necessitate a surgical removal of the embryo rather than leaving it to develop further.


Such an ectopic pregnancy does not happen in women who urinate liberally and practice good toileting habit.


One interesting observation worthy of remembering is, that if a woman in her early pregnancy emits a very strong body odour (sweat smell), she can be suspected to have an ectopic pregnancy, and should be subjected for a medical examination (while in pregnancy) to eliminate such a possibility.



10. Female sterility:
Excessive calcium accumulation within the body of an under-urinating and constipating female tends to:



(a) swell up the egg cells in the ovary (similar to making the sperms swell up in men),


(b) block the Fallopian tubes,


(c) swell up the cells and tissues in the cervix (that is in- between the vagina and uterus), and


(d) promote excessive thickening of the endometrial (wall) lining of the uterus.



These can prevent the sperms from fertilizing the egg, and thus create infertility in a woman.



11. Hot flushes (profuse sweating, related to menopause)
This refers to spontaneous and profuse sweating that occurs on and off in women during the development of menopause.



Numerous stories are coined to explain this phenomenon. All appear to be mere exaggerations only.Linking it with the female hormone oestrogen and the like too does not seem to make any sense.


I have concluded this to be the result of over-consumption of water and under-urination.


Excessive water (e.g., 3 or 4 litres) taken in will have to be excreted in the form of urine.


If the person does not urinate adequately, then brain re-directs it to be expelled in the form of sweat.


Water taken with food takes a long time to be driven into the urinal bladder for its excretion.


When consumed on an empty stomach (e.g., in the middle of the night) will reach the urinal bladder within a few minutes.


The same holds good to a woman who is in the process of entering into a menopause.


Therefore, it should not be taken to mean that such happenings are related to the cessation of oestrogen*.


If hormonal involvement in erratic flushing is true, then, young and immature girls and men in whom oestrogen hormone does not secrete, should also be having such erratic hot flushes.


In the creation of hot flushes, the calcium accumulation due to under-urination does not seem to have any relationship.


On the contrary, the mere high quantity of water intake and under-urination alone seem to be responsible for such hot flushes.



12. Early menopause
I think, it should be a common knowledge among women that all obese women would menopause at an earlier age compared to thin women.



A woman will have to be healthy (with good blood) to have a regular menses.


If she is anaemic for want of sufficient iron in her body (for the build up of red blood cells), her menstrual cycle would suffer.


The egg development in her body at monthly intervals too will depend upon her healthy (nutrient) status.


An under-urinating and constipating woman's body would reject the iron content of the consumed vegetables (due to the alkaline pH of calcium), and in turn would result in leaving the blood poor. This would hamper the proper development of the egg.


We have already seen that an under-urinating obese woman would not have adequate sex drive. As a result, she would refrain from having regular sex with her husband.


I have already established with reasons (Palaniappan, 2007) that those who do not have frequent sex would develop menopause at an early age of even 40 or so*.


(Those who are thin and hypersexed tend to be hyperactive in their sexual unions. This group of women are seen to get their menopause only in their late fifties - See: Palaniappan, 2007).
