Dear Friends,
SINUS PROBLEM -
NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK!
.
Here is the second question that came to me yesterday.:
.
Q. I am having severe sinus problem since very long. I have tried many types of medicines, and none of them seems to help me.
.
If I stop taking the medicine, I get back the running nose. Further, it is very itchy. Please help me.
.(From Ms.J., Chinese. Place: unknown).
.
A. When you drink plenty of water, say 10 glasses (about 2.5L), by right, you must urinate all of it.
.
What happens when you under-urinate?
..
The brain still wants to remove all the water.
.
.Since you are not cooperating with your brain, i.e., not obeying your intuition, then, your brain goes for an alternative way to save you.
.
It induces the retained water to be sent out in the form of profuse sweat. That is why you sweat even during nighttime.
.
If your water intake is MORE than that can be sent out as sweat, then, the water spreads to various parts of the body - most of it goes into the lungs.
.
When your lungs get clogged up with water, the breathing pores, viz., the alveoli get blocked with tiny water droplets.
.
In order to clear the air holes, the brain induces nagging cough, and that removes the blockage, thus facilitates the air exchange at lung level.
YOUR PROBLEM IS SINUSITIS.
.
The following is the reason for this problem:
.
Let us go back a bit:
.
When you drink too much of water and under-urinate, your body profusely sweats! OK?!
.
When your body sweats, the sweat-the water, evaporates from the surface of your skin.
.
This will happen even if you happen to be in an air-conditioned room.
.
This process of evapo-transpiration, due to condensation process, leaves your skin COOL.
.
At this, your nose, along with the inner surface of the nostrils, get CHILLED.
.
OK, see the following analogy:
.
You boil water, and a jet of steam comes out.
If you allow the steam to knock on a cool plate, then the steam will condense to become water droplets.
(This water is what we call the Distilled Water)
.
In Malaysia, the air is very humid.
That means, the Relative Humidity (RH) is very high.
That again means that the air retains in it plenty of water droplets - the moisture.
(That is why our body becomes sticky in Malaysia, and this does not happen in countries where the air is DRY: example: England, India…)
.
When the moist air passes into your lungs THROUGH YOUR NOSTRILS,
Because the inner surface of the nose (the nostrils) are COLD (because of the phenomenon described above),
.
The water from the passing air condenses to become water droplets.
.
Several droplets will become water, and that starts running DOWN, because of the earth’s gravitational pull.
.
The condensed water, when it oozes down into the breathing tubes (the trachea), it gives you sneezes.
.
Again the purpose of the sneeze is to clear the passage way by throwing out the water in the form of droplets.
.
You can notice this if you sneeze over a mirror.
.
A large number of people use tissue paper to wipe the running nose.
.
That is the worst thing you can do!
.
If you dab a tissue paper in a beam of sunlight that comes into your room through a small hole, you can notice thousands of tiny dust particles coming out of the tissue paper and floating in the air.
.
When you use a tissue over a nose, you inhale lots and lots of this dust, and that IRRITATES your nostrils, and makes you to shed TEARS from eyes, more running water from your nose, and also more sneezes.
.
I see this problem very often in many weddings.
.
The bride comes beautifully dressed, and face wonderfully made up.
She sweats.
She uses a tissue paper, and wipes her nose.
This starts giving her MORE problems.
Soon, you can see the bride’s eyes becoming somewhat watery.
People tend to take that as tears of joy.
Only the bride knows the truth that for some reason she has been getting the tears and sweats.
Of course, the bride sweats profusely because, she has NO TIME to urinate!
The whole thing becomes messy!
.
So, why not the close friends of the bride take her out to toilet ….. don’t say it is not possible.
.
I have given a clear picture of the SINUS, armpit sweating, palm sweating, sneezes, etc. in my book “HUMAN DISEASES” in pages 236, 96, 212, and 146. (Total number of pages: 336, and the selling price is only RM20/-, while the recommended price was RM60/-).
.
OK, Ms. J.,
Now, my suggestion to you is:
(a) Urinate once every hour.
(b) If you have been drinking more that 8 glasses of water a day, please reduce it. (Most probably you could be drinking 20 or 12 glasses - in which case, you should be a THIN person, and not obese).
(c) Do not use any tissue paper to wipe your nose or MOUTH. In fact, never take a tissue paper any where near the face.
(d) Use a cotton handkerchief to wipe your mouth or nose.
(e) Do not apply anything in the nostrils.
(f) Stop taking all your medicines meant for this problem.
(g) If you do all the above, your sinus problem should stop within ONE week.
(h) Once cured, you must still continue to urinate once in TWO hours, while you are awake, and urinate at least once during middle of the night (twice will be better).
.
Well, wish you all the best.
.
With best wishes to all Sinus Problem Sufferers,
Sincerely,
Dr. Palani.
